Bree Mitchell Studio Director, Teacher/Choreographer
Bree grew up in Lansing, NY, where her passion for dance began at an early age. From her very first combo class, she dreamed of one day owning her own dance studio. She dedicated herself to rigorous training, assisting in classes, and forming meaningful connections with peers and mentors. At just 14, she began assisting in combo classes, and by her senior year of high school, she was choreographing award-winning competition routines. As a competitor, Bree was part of multiple state and national championship-winning routines in both dance and cheerleading. While earning her undergraduate degree at SUNY Cortland, Bree coached a local All-Star Cheerleading team and became certified through the United States All Star Federation (USASF). In 2019, she graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education. She then spent three years teaching 2nd grade at Newfield Elementary School before turning her lifelong dream into reality by founding Breeze Dance Company. Now entering her fourth year as studio owner, Bree reflects on the past three seasons as some of the most rewarding of her life. She is beyond excited to continue growing Breeze Dance Company and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
