Miss Bree Owner, Creative Director, Teacher/Choreographer
Bree grew up in Lansing, NY, where her love for dance began at an early age. From her first combo class, she dreamed of owning a dance studio. Over the years, she has committed herself to rigorous training, assisting in classes, and building meaningful relationships with both peers and mentors. At 14, she began assisting in combo classes, and by her senior year, she was choreographing award-winning routines for competitions. Throughout her competitive career, Bree was part of several championship-winning routines at both state and national levels in dance and cheerleading.
While pursuing her undergraduate studies at SUNY Cortland, Bree coached a local All-Star Cheerleading team and earned certification from the United States All Star Federation (USASF). In 2019, Bree earned dual bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education. She went on to spend three years teaching 2nd grade at Newfield Elementary School. Currently, Bree is deepening her knowledge of dance pedagogy and technique while working toward her master’s degree. She is excited to combine her educational background with her lifelong passion for dance.
Miss Chrissy Owner, Office Manager In 2022, Chrissy co-founded Breeze Dance Company alongside her daughter, Bree, driven by their shared vision of creating a community where dancers of all ages can thrive and achieve their personal best.
Chrissy earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Ithaca College, equipping her with a deep understanding of holistic wellness and the importance of physical activity in a balanced lifestyle. Chrissy pursued her Master of Arts in K-12 School Counseling at Syracuse University. Her educational background and professional experiences have uniquely positioned her to contribute to the development of Breeze Dance Company not only as a co-founder but also as a compassionate leader and mentor to dancers.
Her leadership and dedication to the studio's mission make her an invaluable asset, enriching the lives of dancers and their families alike.

Meet Miss Madeleine!
Madeleine Giroux is from Lansing, New York! She discovered her passion for dance at the age of 3. She has performed with the prestigious Moscow Ballet and has showcased her talents in various musicals during her formative years. She competed for 6 years and achieved multiple world championships across diverse dance styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Madeleine's versatility also extends to gymnastics and cheerleading. Having graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in health, Madeleine's dedication to dance persisted throughout her college years. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, she became a certified Zumba instructor and launched a music and movement program for nursing home residents, showcasing her commitment to using dance as a tool for wellness and community engagement. Madeleine's passion for dance and her commitment to enriching lives, make her a valuable asset to BDC these past two seasons. She can't wait to see what Season 3 will bring to BDC!
Meet Miss Malaya! Malaya is from Lufkin, Texas! She started dance at a young age, and has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, clogging, and hip hop. Throughout her dance career, she has excelled not only as an award-winning performer, but also as a choreographer.
Currently, Malaya is a Junior at Ithaca College and she is pursuing a dual passion for psychology and dance, blending her academic pursuits with her love for movement and expression. This will be Malaya's second year teaching at BDC, and continues to inspire and mentor dancers, fostering growth and passion within the studio.
Meet Miss Gabbi! Gabbi Rosetti is from Lansing, NY! With 15 years of dance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, precision, hip hop, and pointe, Gabbi brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role as a tap instructor. Her dedication to our holistic approach is evident in her teaching style, which not only focuses on technical excellence but also on the emotional well-being and personal growth of each dancer. Since joining Breeze Dance Company towards the end of Season 2, Gabbi has made an immediate impact on our dancers. Gabby looks forward to teaching regularly during Season 3!

Meet Miss Emily! Emily grew up in Ithaca, NY. She began dancing at age 5, and has trained in contemporary, ballet, lyrical, and tap. Emily danced competitively for 5 years. In 2021, Emily attended a summer program with the Joffrey Ballet.
Currently, Emily is a Junior at the University of Vermont, majoring in Community and International Development with a minor in Computer Science in the Honors College. Emily is an active member of UVM Dance Force, teaching and performing across various styles.
